Locating where the student is with respect to their golf skills, their goals, physical assets and limitations, expectations, committment.

Asking as many questions to find out about the student to gather the appropriate information to create the learning enviorment and create a blueprint for the short term and the longer term.

Every size and shape, ages, skills levels.  My approach is a "it depends" approach meaning that what the student needs to improve and get more enjoyment out of their game "depends" on the situation and the moment, even within the BLUEPRINT that might have already been laid out between me and the student.

Look at the instructor's playing backround and use of their experience as tools to guide the instruction.

I have a young man whom I've worked with for over two years and have seen him grow both physically and golf wise into a mature improved young man.

He is college bound if he continues on this trajectory.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
The student should be aware of the instructors playing backround because it has an influence on the ability to transfer golf skills to the course in the form of scoring.

The ability to transfer what is learned on the lesson tee to the course of play can come with relating playing experiences; good and bad that students can learn from their instructor.  If the instructor does not have those successes and failures to relate back to the student he/she is robbed of learning that important aspect of the learning process.

Details

Students committing to a Coaching Program is best for them to "learn" how to play the game, so a monthly price for coaching is a preference.  I am open to customizing a program that is affordable, and valueable to the student (s).
