About Bob

Beginners Golf Academy is located at Hackaways Golf Range, 1997 SE County Hwy 484, Beleview, FL. (across from Southeast Milk inc.). It's a facility with over 6000 sq ft of grass surface to hit from plus a large putting green and sand Bunker for lessons and practice. Relax and enjoy this refreshing country atmosphere golf range where you can come dressed as you are.

Students learn how to swing (not hit with) a golf club. They learn to understand how a golf club works. They will learn where power comes from and how to make those effortless looking golf swings that professionals make. Also, they can learn putting, chipping, pitching, & sand shots. Playing lessons are also available.

Director of Golf, Bob Larensen, is a 20 yr PGA member, with 35 yrs experience teaching golf . He has worked with many people from 4yrs young to 101yrs old. Also he spent 4.5 yrs teaching golf in Singapore, which expanded his creativity for instructing the game.

Bob specalizes in providing an understanding of the golf swing and correcting the mis-perceptions of "the swing", "power generation", & "how the golf club & ball react to each other". He believes a clear understanding of the club & ball interaction is a must for the swing & body motion to be reasonably correct.

His experience includes;

PGA Member since March 1998

Teaching golf since 1983

Experience teaching golf to ages from 4 to 101 yrs old

Four plus yrs teaching golf in Singapore

Three summers helping kids with the 1st Tee of Ct.

A qualified instructor in all areas of golf

Experienced playing in 100's of professional tournaments

6 months PGA Tour Caddy in 1982 for Ray Barr Jr.

U of Oklahoma golf team, Jan. 78-May 82.

Tom

Swing concept works for all clubs in the bag including the putter. The putting is the place to start. I was ok before, now I am great, but don't take my word for it. I never made a birdie in the last 3 years untill after this new concept and made 4 in my last round. The best part my instructor Bob only had 3.
