About Steve
I've been a high school boys and girls golf coach for the past 3 years. I work with my incoming freshman mostly beginning the game of golf and assisting others in bettering their swing and mechanics. I believe building the new golfer's confidence up is most important and have fun playing the game. I'm a confidence builder and that's where my coaching ability stands out! We always end the day on a positive note!

The first thing I do is show them how to grip a club. The next step would be to show them the proper stance. Following their stance would be to show them how to address the ball and how the club lays on the turf. Without a ball down, I would then let them swing freely, keeping their left arm stiff, if they are right handed. If left handed, I would do the opposite. It's ll about muscle memory and getting the proper swing down. Lastly, it's all about building the golfer's confidence up that they can learn how to hit the ball and feel good about it to hit it again and again!
