About Stephanye

I have always had a passion for teaching and training others. I knew I had to give myself the opportunity to actually teach and be in a classroom setting. In 2017, I was offered a position as a GED Instructor and loved it. I taught for a little less than a year, until I became pregnant. I had multiple students contact me, letting me know they had passed all four sections of the GED test due to my help and guidance. It was such a rewarding experience.

Seeing my students come from all walks of life but being as equally excited about accomplishing their goal was an amazing feeling. I want to be able to dedicate my time 1 on 1 and tutor those looking to achieve their goal in passing the GED exam.

I love to provide others with any knowledge I may have. I was contacted to teach a GED course, which quickly turned into three. I want to continue helping those looking to obtain their GED certificate.

I taught a GED course for 10 months at a community college. Within those three months I was able to teach three different classes who had anywhere from four to fifteen students at a time.

About the lesson

There is a particular book I like teaching from. I will have the student take the practice test to get an understanding of how much tutoring the student will need. It also allows me to understand what subject I should be spending the most time on.

I have worked with students who had recently dropped out of high school to parents that wanted to show their children that anything is possible, regardless of age.

My advice to a student looking for a GED instructor is to make sure you feel comfortable with the teacher. The teacher may not know it all, but if they are a good instructor, they will follow-up with an answer and make sure you understand.

I always love hearing back from my students letting me know they have passed. It is extremely rewarding to know the person is one step closer to achieving their goals.
