About Anne
I do a thorough job of trying to understand my students' specific needs and then seeking resources that are tailored to best meet them.
I just love to teach! I especially enjoy one-on-one interaction with students, being able to answer questions directly and seeing a concept "click" with a student that they may have previously found difficult to grasp.
I began teaching during college in church youth groups and Sunday school classes and discovered I enjoyed it very much. I then earned a teaching credential and have since taught in classrooms, worked as a tutor with a private agency, and have also educated my own children in our homeschool for several years.
I have a teaching credential and over a decade of teaching experience, including classroom teaching, one-one-one tutoring and home-based education. I have taught students ranging from young children to adults in various subjects.

I get to know the student so that we can decide on the best approaches for their needs, asking questions to find out their learning strengths/weaknesses, preferences, what motivates them, what they think are their main areas of struggle, etc.
I have worked with students of all ages and from a variety of backgrounds, from elementary-age children on up to adults.
