About Luna
Languages have always been my passion. I was born and raised in Italy where I have studied French, German and Engish. At the age of 14, I understood that there was more outside my small city in northern Italy and I've decided to study in a boarding school in Oxford. This was the best decision in my life, I have opened my mind in terms of culture, lifestyle and habits!!! I have studied the IB. My HL subjects were: History, French and English whereas I took Chemistry, Maths and Italian ad my standard level. My experience in the UK made me realize that my native language is charming and its fame around the world. This is why I believe I could use my knowledge and experience to teach this beautiful language.
Moreover, as I kept studying French, I believe to be qualified to help students with this language as well. French is probably the most elegant and sophisticated language you could learn and improve. Not only I have been studying it for 8 years but I also have had many learning experiences in France such as an intensive one month course in Nice to expand my knowledge of French history.
It’s not the first time I teach students. In fact, it’s been two years that I am giving Italian private lessons to high school students.
My approach is not only based on an intense and boring study of the language but I try to give a 160-degree view of the language I teach in terms of grammar, culture, habits and idioms. Of course, I will also be more than happy to adress specific needs and review some topics for both written and oral exams.
I am motivated and professional and can’t wait to be your tutor!!
