About Tan
I am a qualified and experienced educator with over 10 years of teaching experience, working with children aged 3 to 12 years old as well as adult learners. I hold a First Class Honors Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Malaya.
I believe every learner deserves the opportunity to progress with confidence — no child is left behind. Lessons are personalized, well-structured, and paced according to each learner’s abilities, ensuring understanding rather than pressure.
I work closely with parents through clear communication and regular feedback, so learning continues consistently both during and beyond lessons. My goal is to build strong foundations, confidence, and a positive learning experience for every student.
Lessons are available online or in-person at SS2, Petaling Jaya.

Hi, I’m an experienced tutor and early childhood educator working with children aged 3 to 12 years old, as well as adult learners who wish to build practical language skills.
I provide personalised, learner-centred academic support that balances understanding, confidence, and steady progress, adapting each lesson to suit individual goals and learning pace.

For younger learners (ages 3–6), I use play-based and hands-on approaches to build interest, confidence, and positive learning habits.
For older children (ages 7–12), lessons are more structured and goal-oriented, focusing on understanding, application, and school readiness.
For adult learners, I offer practical and goal-focused lessons in Chinese and Bahasa Melayu, suitable for:
• Beginners with no foundation
• Conversational and daily-use improvement
• Workplace and communication needs
• Building confidence in speaking and understanding
Lessons are paced comfortably, with clear explanations and real-life usage to help adult learners gain confidence and apply the language naturally.
I hold a First Class Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education from the University of Malaya and have over 10 years of teaching experience. My experience includes teaching in kindergartens, nursery centres, preschools, government primary schools, tuition centres, home tuition, and right-brain development centres in Malaysia.
Lessons are available via online classes (accessible from anywhere) or physical classes in SS2, Petaling Jaya.
