About Ryan
I have a strong passion in mathematics and have patience and passion in teaching and sharing what I know along with tips and tricks. I go for a different and more subtle and friendly approach while teaching nothing too textbook heavy but more on explaining concept and ideologies. In my lessons, I focus on identifying each student’s weaknesses and addressing those gaps directly. I explain concepts in a simple, clear, and structured way, breaking down complex topics step by step. My goal is to help students truly understand the subject, build confidence, and feel less overwhelmed when learning.

I am 22 years old, a Catholic and I am a student currently completing my degree and pursuing a career in actuarial science. I have done my IGCSE and came out with 6A*1A and 1B. I have previously tutored a student who was also doing IGCSE and he came out with flying colors with 8A*. I am passionate about teaching because I enjoy helping students overcome challenges they once thought were impossible. Having faced academic struggles myself, I understand how confusing certain concepts can feel. Teaching allows me to guide students patiently, build their confidence, and help them achieve real understanding rather than just short-term results.

My tutoring rates range from RM80–RM100 per hour, depending on the subject, level (IGCSE or SPM), and lesson format. I am flexible and open to discussion, especially for long-term students or regular weekly sessions.
