About Maria
I am a professional Recorder Player with a Masters Degree and 25+ years of experience teaching and performing.
You will earn how to play the recorder, its family and its many music styles with enjoyable lessons.
I teach both the instrument and the music theory from the first class, as well as breathing, body posture and recorder technique.
Lessons are for Adults, teens and kids (5+). All levels, from beginners to advanced.
First lesson is a free trail.
I hold a Bachelor degree in Recorder and a Master in Music/Recorder from NEC, Boston. I have taught the recorder since 1993 in various music schools in my country, Venezuela, and as a private teacher in USA since 2018 . Toured around the world and recorded with Camerata de Caracas as well as Musica Reservata and Folia de Caracas.
