About Stephanie
Hello, my name is Stephanie and I have been playing the flute for over 20 years. Although I don't play professionally, I still love to play in my spare time and teach musicians of all ages.
Education:
Master of Music, Ithaca College, 2013
Flute Performance and Music Education, Ohio University, 2011
Specialty: I am passionate about performing in chamber groups, specifically flute quartets, duos, and flute and guitar literature.
Advanced: For my graduate degree, I presented a lecture titled "The Evolution of Extended Flute Techniques". I quickly become intrigued with contemporary music and spent months learning extended techniques for the flute.
I also have arranged music for various instrumental and vocal ensembles.

Based on your age and experience, we will determine the length of your lesson. Its' my job as a teacher to help foster your creativity, enthusiasm and allow you to express this (and so much more) through music!
