About Daivik
I’m a senior dual-degree Economics student at Duke University and at Duke Kunshan University in China! I love my major and look forward to a career in international development. As a part of my program, I lived and studied in Barcelona, Spain. The immersion and infusion into Spanish-speaking life has been instrumental in helping me achieve fluency. Outside of the classroom, I have always loved learning about language and culture. I have experience tutoring English, Chinese, and French, in addition to Spanish.

As an experienced tutor fluent in Spanish and English, I am intimately familiar with what trips up new learners when they begin their journey towards Spanish fluency. I struggled through many methods of learning, and found what worked best for me!
My own experience has taught me how to beat the hurdles; I am committed to results for my clients, and I recognize that every learner has different styles of language acquisition. I love learning about grammar, and explaining grammar is one of the most rewarding parts of tutoring Spanish for me! I have experience with and am happy to work with children and learners of all ages.
I’m a language nerd, and this is what I love; I speak Mandarin Chinese, French, Gujarati, and Hindi in addition to Spanish and English, and I’m always looking to improve.
