About Naya
I do not teach nor do I have any degrees in education. However, I have a passion for helping those around me produce their best work as well as putting their best foot forward and all that they do academically and morally.
all throughout high school I took honors English courses, I am now in the honors program at Penn State University taking the highest English course offered for first year students. I have worked alongside my peers in order to help them produce their best work possible. Not only have I done this but I love doing so.

when a student reaches out to me for a tutoring request I will have them present to me what they are being asked of by their instructor then I will expect them to come to me with either brainstorming or the assignment complete. I will not complete assignments nor homework for students I will offer guidance, corrections, examples, as well as additional strategies in order to execute the correct response.
I've worked with students in grades ranging from kindergarten through juniors in high school.
The precise advice that I would offer a student looking to hire a teacher in my area of expertise is to look for someone who is not going to do the work for you. Though this may be the easy route it will not allow you to understand the material at hand. If anything it will set you back. When seeking out a tutor, mentor, teacher you are reaching out to understand the material at hand in a deeper way. Having the work done for you will solely jeopardize your skill level as well as progress. hire somebody that will work alongside you and help you view assignments and problems as well as tasks at hand from multiple different lenses of perspective.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
questions that students should think through before talking to teachers about their needs could be as followed. Do I understand the assignment that I am provided with? If so, have I started the assignment and do I have a product to provide the teacher with? what questions do I have relating to the assignment at hand?

I do not have a standard pricing system as of right now. When I am approached with a tutoring request I will look at what the request has in store for me and then I will quote a price based on what I see fit. I will then speak to the student I am tutoring as well as parents if needed to negotiate the price.
