About Daniel
Hi! My name is Daniel Hebb. I am a high school graduate and Clark University student, and I teach Academic English to students ages 10-17. My specialties are Essay Writing, Creative Writing, the Classics, and Literacy.
My unique method of teaching involves getting to know a student's individual strengths, needs, and preferences so that I may create an individualized curriculum. Some benefits of this one-on-one approach are that I can focus on addressing a student's specific academic needs, I can break down complicated topics by building off of the strengths a student already has, and lessons can move at a pace which the student is comfortable with.
If there is student interest, I can also teach introductory and intermediate-level Latin. I am a three-year member of the National Latin Honor Society, and 3 time recipient of the Summa Cum Laude gold medal on the National Latin Exam.
It is my personal belief that knowledge is worth nothing until it is shared. Additionally, I love working with children and young adults because of their individuality and potential. It is my hope that while my students learn from me, I may also learn from them, so that I can become the educator they deserve.
