About Sabrina

I'm currently a college student studying Elementary Education. I have a great understanding of pedagogy and teaching and would love to help you learn with different strategies.

I started college as a political science major, and then realized that teaching was my passion after taking an education course. I love helping others and making sure that they truly understand concepts and disciplines.

I am in my senior year as an Elementary Education major. I have been in the classroom for 120 hours and have learned many strategies to help others learn.

About the lesson

I like to first find out what their learning style is to make sure that I am connecting with them the right way. Then I would like to set short-term and long-term goals to make sure we know what we are working toward.

I have worked with students up to 6th grade, as well as students with several different disabilities.

Make sure that you connect with your tutor! It is important to have a good relationship so that you are able to learn in a comfortable environment.

My first day in the class this year, I was able to help a student understand the concept of regrouping when subtracting. We used a different method that made much more sense to him.
