About Kayla
I graduated from Regis university with a degree in elementary education, as well as special education. I also have endorsements for culturally and linguistically diverse education and English. I am currently a special education teacher working in a bilingual school with students in kindergarten through 5th grade. I have a passion for teaching and helping students reach their full potential. I believe that we are all individual learners who need different supports, and it's my job to determine which support will best serve my students.
I have my bachelor's degree in elementary education and special education.

I begin by using assessments to see my students current level and where they need help. I also believe it is very important to build a relationship with my students early on so we have a good foundation to work off of.
I've worked with students in kindergarten through fifth grade in the general education setting, as well as special education.
