About Kimberly
I have tutored privately, as a contractor, and as a home-bound tutor through several Lake County high schools and for grades 4 -12. I have taught elementary and high school students with emotional and behavioral disabilities, as well as students with learning disabilities, ADD, and various other disabilities for a total of 29 years, the last 25 having taught with the Special Education District of Lake County. I have my Bachelor's degree in Special Education and Master's degree in Educational Leadership. I have two Learning Behavior Specialist teaching certificates, for birth through grade 8 and for grades 9 - age 21 in Special Education and I also hold an administration certificate.
I enjoy helping students gain new skills and watching them grow academically.
