About Christen

I am a master's student at the University of Denver. I have lots of experience in essay writing and writing projects using both MLA and APA formatting.

I am proficient in research strategies, outline creation, and checking grammar and phrasing.

My availability is typically in the evening after 5pm CT and on weekends.

I have tutored a few people I have personally known as well as helped all three of my younger siblings in their high school and college courses with their writing as well.

I have a Bachelor's degree in Social Work and am currently working on a Master's degree. This field is heavily based on research papers, essays, and writing projects. From this, I have become extremely proficient in both APA and MLA style writing.

Before choosing this degree I began to pursue a creative writing and English degree and have completed multiple college-level literature/English/Grammar courses.

About the lesson

First, we will discuss what you feel you want or need to improve in and discuss your goals in your writing. After establishing what areas you want to work on we can then take a look at a project or assignment you are needing assistance on and create a plan together on how to produce the best outcome.

Middle School, Highschool, and College students.

Find someone you are comfortable with who meets YOUR goals. To be successful you need to have a good working relationship with your tutor to meet your goals in your writing.

I charge $10-$15 per lesson but as I feel that writing is such a powerful tool for a person's future I am willing to negotiate a plan with each individual.
