For a new student, I always like to get to know them before we begin a lesson. I think that having a personal connection is imperative to teaching. I will ask about their past education and what the teachers they've had prior are like. This way we can discuss teaching methods and attitudes they have dealt with in the past and how that works for them in an indirect way.

Typically, I work for around $10-$15 per hour, but I am negotiable with prices. Especially during these tough times, I am empathetic and understanding of the expensive cost of living and pricey education. The lowest I am willing to work for is $8 an hour.
