About Veronica
I am able to tutor many ages of students in reading, writing and comprehension. I am very patient and believe than all student's will love to read, once they find what they love to read. For those that are struggling, reading and writing should be fun.
I have always wanted to be a teacher. After Some other souls searching and starting a family, it is time to buckle down and get to it.
I have a bachelors degree in English literature. I am currently a credential student with national university. I have tutored all ages including SAT prep.

At our first meeting I will speak with the student and/or parents in order to get an idea of what they are coming to tutoring for. It may be writing, test prep, spelling or reading comprehension. From that first assessment, in all other meetings I will go through specific lessons or subjects in order to familiarize the student with what they are struggling in. On the way, I will asess each student's learning style because they are not all the same. If the student learning better through writing, not taking, visualizing etc, then the lessons will involve more of those types of lessons. Hopefully, making the subject less stressful and the student more successful.

Details
I charge $20.00 per hour. For proofreading of essays it costs $5.00 per page without discussion of the work. If you would like to discuss the paper or need help brainstorming then proofreading is included in the $20 per hour.
