About Stephanie
I adhere to the traditional basics of education theory and proper spoken and written English standards.
I love assisting others with overcoming barriers they encounter while working towards their learning and employment goals. Communication in both written and spoken formats is the most important skill to master in life, in every profession. Ones level of education and training is evident to others in how we speak and write, so to enable learners to achieve this level of competency, is very crucial and rewarding.
I worked at a science museum for six years and taught informal classes to groups of elementary and middle school students at the museum and in the public school setting.
I have a bachelor's degree and six years of professional-teaching experience.

Initial discussions via phone or virtual meeting will cover what the prospective student's goals are, how they are comfortable receiving tutoring and what their availability is for regularly-scheduled sessions. Additionally, communicating expectations and means of measuring their success is necessary. As with any working relationship, it is important to build rapport and ensure the client's needs will be met.
