About Nasia
I am currently in my last semester of college, and I am studying English with a concentration in Creative Writing. As a college student, I have recent practice with secondary school material as well as general education requirements for university. I began tutoring in the sixth grade; I was a peer tutor for my classmates. I participated in peer tutoring programs throughout my school career and began receiving payment for tutoring during my Sophomore year of college. Although I specialize in literature and writing, I am a skilled in tutoring mathematics, sciences, and social sciences. I look forward to learning with you!

First, I like to spend a few moments getting to know the student which includes speaking to them about their strengths and weaknesses in the subject, as well as their goals for the tutoring sessions. I find that tutoring is most effective when the student and the instructor are clear on the objectives that they are pursuing. Next, I like to review the student's current work to access their problem areas. This will allow me to design a plan for the student to see their mistakes, work through them, and improve accordingly.
