About Bryn
Not only do I have a BA in English Literature, I also have one in theatre. While my English degree instilled in me the fundamentals and joy of reading and writing, my theatre influence enables me to be engaging and creative with my students. Delving into the human psyche through theatre has also granted me empathy and patience for people with whom I interact. Beyond my college credentials, I have teaching in my bones, both my parents are teachers and I have been a natural teacher since age 6. I have taught theatre to all age groups in classrooms, SUN programs, and touring with Missoula Children’s Theatre. I have taught online courses to non-English students, and have been a teacher in the workplace in regards to shop ethos and flow. I am confident in my ability to impart knowledge with kindness and empathy while still maintaining boundaries and expectations.
I receive a great deal of satisfaction watching students get excited about the subject I’m teaching. I love seeing them understand concepts and begin to implement them in their work.
