About Ellie

Hello, my name is Ellie! I am finishing my last semester at Grand Canyon University (GCU) April 2021 for Medical Administration. I have maintained a 4.0 my entire time at GCU. While I have always been a good student, at times I found it very frustrating when I was unable to understand material. As a student I have always reached out for help when I found myself struggling and I have seen the difference it makes to be able to work through and discuss particular problems with either a tutor or an instructor. I have always enjoyed using my knowledge to teach others through simple ways. In my time at GCU, I have had many other students reach out for help and have always found a way to explain things in similar terms. Additionally, I have been a nanny for about six years and have helped students with homework and problem solving. My brother is also a sophomore in high school and I have guided him through the writing process in order to achieve A grades.

I have completed Algebra 1, 2, and statistics with a letter A grade

All of my classes are writing intensive and I have managed to maintain a 4.0 in my time as an undergrad.

I have always enjoyed helping students get there thoughts out through discussion to begin the learning process. I believe that everyone can learn material when they have a patient teacher.
