About Wendy
I love writing and have a graduate education in writing and English, as well as an undergraduate concentration in communications. My education and experience as a student volunteer helping peers with their essays and short stories created a place in this world for me -- the place of a dedicated tutor.
I love to see new, passionate, and capable writers emerge from the complications that surround academic and creative writing.
I tutored my peers while I was in high school, college, and graduate school.

I like to assess the writing situation by asking questions about the assignment and where the writer thinks he or she needs help with the assignment. After that, I like to scan the writer's work and come to a joint agreement with the writer on what will be accomplished through the tutoring session. When this has been accomplished, I like to dig in and help the writer improve his or her work, typically focusing on larger problems first, and then smaller, less consequential issues.
I have worked with high school, college, and graduate school students. I have worked with English language learners.
