About Jodi

What trully excites me is when my students would say, "but I can't do this" in our first session or so and then to hear them say "oohhh" when they finally get it. That "oohhh" means the world to me.

I am a trained teacher with over 10 years experience as a class teacher.

About the lesson

First I must conduct an evaluation of the student. Just a small diagnostic test in the subject area we are working on. This then helps me to understand where the student is, strengths and weaknesses and how to proceed thereof.

I have worked with preschool and elementary students up to 4th grade

You've shown your commitment and love for our child and put in so much of your own time and effort. You are truly an Angel!” “Teachers require so many positive qualities like care, compassion, patience and commitment. You've surpassed that and more, keep doing what you do. We appreciate you!

The services offered are tailored to suit the needs of an individual child or small group. This level of attention has helped my daughter significantly regarding concepts she was struggling with in a classroom setting. Since receiving tutoring she has scored well on her recent assessments and feels more confident. Her constant dialogue with parents has been exceptional and makes me know that Next Step Tutoring has been the right choice!!!!! So happy!
