About Je'Niya

Hello, my name is Je'Niya Howard. I'm a 14-year old high schooler from Boston. I am looking forward to helping you out. ( I only offer preschool to 6th-grade help also all lessons are online using zoom preferably)

I am familiar with younger kids and have done a variety of tutoring and babysitting jobs before. I assure anyone that if you choose to have your child work with me. They will have an amazing learning experience.

I begun at a young age because I grew used to helping my younger cousins with homework and such.

I have worked in a daycare helping younger children read for a year now. I have also been a part of a big brother and big sister program for over three years in the past. So overall I have had 4 lengthy years of experience helping other students learn.

About the lesson

I try to feel out what type of learning they like to do. I always want to know what a student prefers and doesn't. I never try to force any type of learning onto a student. The tutoring is always about them.

I have worked with pretty easy-going students. Sometimes I have had some students who would rather do anything but learn. A kid is a kid at the end of the day. Everyone learns and experiences things differently. I am thoroughly prepared for that.

Always try a test lesson if your someone who needs familiarity some people are really cold. English teachers next to History are usually the most formative because they give knowledge that is relevant no matter what. In both subjects, you learn stories and such. If you have the choice to pick your teacher. Don't pick someone less than favorable to tell you a story.

Recently a student of mine sent me a picture of the certificate I had given her for finishing online school as congratulations last year. It made me so happy to remember my first year of online tutoring with her.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Things I mentioned before. Like what type of learning have you liked. What are things you enjoy and how can we incorporate those things into our lessons for incentive to get work done. Also, make sure to talk to your school teachers about where your weaknesses are and where they think you need help.

Details

Usually, I'm okay with the parent or guardian proposing a price. If I am asked the price for my lessons it depends on the grade level and its complexity. For example, 5th-grade level essay help is a bit more complex than 3rd-grade sentence structure help. So I would price those things differently. But I will never price any lesson every $50 I promise that. Also, I do a free test lessons for people who want my services more than once. I want to make sure the student is comfortable with me.
