About Karen
I am a retired English teacher with a B.A. and M.Ed. in English. I've taught middle, high school, and college Reading, Writing, and Literature. I also have experience with AP Language, AICE, ESOL, and Debate. I believe in instilling confidence in learning with my students first and foremost as believing in oneself is essential to mastering a difficult subject.
I have been teaching English, Language Arts, and Writing since 2004. I have developed curriculum in these areas since 2015. I've worked as a Learning Specialist and a tutor at colleges, community centers, and one-on-one since 2014.
