About Farah
This is a student's perspective on your problem. I am in many programs. I am currently developing undergraduate research, president of a book club, and information security club vice president. I have been writing academic work since 11th grade. I usually get As in English and most of my subjects. I know how to write essays, doing research, and finding you the right sources for your writing. I have been writing fiction for over 7 years now and have 150 followers (not a lot) and 60+ writing drafts. My current GPA is 3.30. I will provide virtual teaching via Zoom on weekends only. Thank you.
I love helping students out all the time. I love helping people write things and assisting them with the format. I will never help you plagiarize, I will give you tools and knowledge for you to do amazing work but I will make sure you complete it in time. I love the idea of helping people because I have always needed help and no one to help me. I don't want that to be the case with any of you.
I joined university and got very immersed in the idea of being helpful to others. I started helping people in high school in completing or doing their work but then in university, I realized that there is a more productive way to help people. I have technically been tutoring for 3 years via study sessions but I never got paid for them because that is how much I enjoy teaching people.
I have a lot of training in writing as I am very experienced in it. Believe it or not, I used to write other peoples' essays and they'd get As. I have a lot of experience in teaching people and teaching them English.

First I'll ask them regarding their weaknesses and some basic introductions. Then, I'll do short practices and flashcard activities to enhance their memory and skills. Then, I'll slowly teach more and more.
For assignments, I will ask them what they're having trouble with and I'll guide them and help them finish either all or most of them.
I have worked with students who have no idea of subject matter, have trouble with reading and so much more. I fluently speak three languages: Arabic, English, and a little bit of Hindi/Urdu. I have dealt with students who are very bad at English and need a lot of help.
- Make sure they are patient with you.
- Make sure they allow you to learn new vocabulary and techniques/skills within writing.
- Make sure they value what you need.
- Don't look for a homework solver, look for a homework assistant.
It may seem stupid to waste time on homework but life is literally a cycle. You never know when you could use that skill you learned in a random English related class or homework.
Recently, I assisted a student through WhatsApp where she and I were discussing different topics she could write about. And I brainstormed with her and the way it helped her was so weird because she took that brainstorm session and produced an amazing report through it. It made me feel happy to have helped in such an activity.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
- Why am I even approaching this tutor?
- Can I really not do a self-learning session?
- Can I afford to waste time, energy, and money on something I already know?
- Do I have time to dedicate to tutoring?
- Is there a specific type of learning that is suitable for me and my tutor must follow with that?
- What is so difficult about the activity that I need my teacher for?
- What kind of teacher do I want? (ex. quick and strict or descriptive and patient.)
Think through what your teacher didn't or couldn't do for you and think how this website and approach would.
