About Laura
I have been working as a tutor for three years now and I have to say, it is my passion. I love when I am able to help a student overcome a difficult lesson or help a student gain the confidence to write a difficult paper. My passion for my work sets me apart from my competitors as well as my work history as a writing tutor at the University of Mississippi.
My favorite part of my job is helping students gain the foundation they need to thrive and grow on their own. I have found that most students have either not recieved the proper instruction they need to thrive or don't have the confidence. My favorite part of my job is seeing a student understand a hard assignment or finish a hard paper and realize that they are intellligent and capable--all they need is a little help!
I have been a writing/English tutor for two years. I have a degree in English literature and a minor in professional writing.
