About Cassie

I have an MA in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) and a BA in Linguistics with an empahsis in American Sign Language (ASL). I received an award for my thesis/project writing abilities during my MA coursework. I was complimented by my professors on my writing on many occasions.

I have taught advanced writing and reading courses at BYU and UVU. My students gave positive feedback about my writing courses saying my class was difficult, but worthwhile. I love to edit essays and I give thorough feedback. To me, editing essays is more than grammar and spelling. I want to help you improve your writing voice and structure.

I prefer to edit essays remotely and send detailed feedback to you via email. I use a particular editing system and will provide you with a key. I am happy to meet over the phone or Zoom to answer ANY and ALL questions you have regarding my feedback. I am willing to meet in person for an extra fee.

I started teaching at Utah Valley University and Brigham Young University in the English Language Learning program and English Langauge Center, respectively.

MA TESOL (Brigham Young University)

BA Lingustics (Brigham Young University)

About the lesson

Contact me via email or phone and tell me about your essay!

You pay 1/3 up front and send me your essay via email.

I send it back to you with thorough feedback and you make the second payment.

You make revisions and send it back to me for another review.

Contact me for further help either by phone, Zoom, email, or we decide to meet in person.

Once you feel good about it, you make the final payment to me.

I have worked with college-aged students, both native English speakers and international students. I am willing to work with all levels.

If you are looking for an awesome writing teacher, look for someone who will give feedback on more than grammar and spelling! You need a teacher you will analyze your writing as a whole.
