About Denise
I have been teaching in a school system for about 10 years, but my love for children has always opened the door for me to teach from home. I once turned my hallway into a k-5 bulletin board. I have 5 children, 2 stepsons, 5 Godchildren, and many other bonus children that I have always taken the time out to work with. I have worked after school tutoring with 21st Century for 3 years. I am certified in Mississippi and Louisiana, and I have a Master's degree. I absolutely love what I do.
I started of working as an interventionist while I was in undergrad. Once I finished college, I became a 3rd grade ELA and Social Studies teacher at the same school before being moved to 4th grade ELA and Social Studies.
I have a master's in elementary education.
I have had many hours of DIBELS, IRLA, and Project Read training.
