About Juliet

Hello,

I am a reading Teacher. I worked for several years in South Florida with students from Kindergarten - 4th grade. I realy enjoy helping my students discover the love of learning. It is very rewarding when I see the daily progress in students ability to read and comprehend meaning in text.

I believe that every student is unique and deserves individual instruction taylored to their specific needs.

I look forward to working with each student and providing the environment where each student can experience success.

I truly enjoy watching the growth of the students. It is so evident throughout the course time. I believe that each person deserves the chance to a superior education. I have always prided myself in pushing my students towards excellence. I believe that the world is very competitive and each individual must be held to high standards. If you put forth maximum effort it will pay off in the long run.

Thus I believe in having high expectations for myself as well as for my students. I worked with students in South Florida where i had a variety of students that were Non English Speakers. I believe it was during this time that I saw the most growth as non speakers and readers acquired the language.

I worked at Bay Harbor Elementary for 10 years. An A rated School with innovative, rigorous and progressive curriculum. I also taught the Academic Excellent Program.

I earned a Bachelors degree in Elementary Ed and a Masters in Reading from Florida International University in Miami.
