About Marcel
My name is Marcel Richter. My professional background is in sales, IT sales, sales training and technical recruiting. I have nearly 20 years of experience working in the DC tech industry, primarily for one company, Target Labs. I conduct regular job interview and resume bootcamps for Learnix Center in Tysons Corner ((concealed information)
I know how recruiters and employers think, and I have many years of sales and interview experience. If you would like to have a professional review of your resume, and/or help preparing for job interviews, I'm the expert and tutor for you. I can train you how to conduct yourself in the interview, with specific conversational and psychological techniques taken from advanced sales training. I have presented this training at international conferences.
Please note that I also have extensive experience working with non-native English speakers.
On a personal level, my great passion is language and languages. I grew up bilingual in English and German and I'm fluent in Russian and French (I was a Russian major and lived in Saint Petersburg for 4 years). I can teach English, English as a second language, business English, German and business German.

We discuss and work out your specific needs. I then develop and tweek the subject matter to meet those needs.
I have given resume review and job interview training to hundreds of students at Learnix Center, the majority of which were non-native English speakers.
One of my students thanked me profusely after being hired for a job. She felt that my training, specifically teaching her to prepare a good "life story", were instrumental in her being chosen for the position.

Details
I am charging $50/hour for new students until the end of 2018.
My resume review and interview training unit usually takes 2.5 -3 hours. Many students choose to take a follow up session (typically 1.5 to 2 hours).
I am open to meeting students in person. There may be an additional charge depending on the distance from my location in Alexandria.
