About Rebecca
Hey there!
My name is Grace, and I am a recent college grad who is about to begin law school at Pepperdine U in August. I graduated summa cum laude from Liberty University with an International Relations major and a French minor. I love all things learning (which is fortunate, because I have 3 more years of school to go)! Throughout my educational experience, I have learned the importance of peer and instructional support. So many academic struggles can be remedied by a good study group or the aid of someone who really knows what they are talking about. That is what I want to provide to my clients as a tutor. With a strong academic background and a natural affinity for English and writing, I've always found joy in sharing knowledge and helping others succeed. While I may be new to tutoring, I have a strong dedication to empowering students through personalized guidance and support.
Teaching Philosophy:
I believe in the power of discovery and the process of learning. Rather than simply providing answers, I'm committed to engaging with students in a collaborative exploration of topics, encouraging critical thinking and independent problem-solving skills. I want my students to really have a firm understanding of why, not just what.
What to Expect:
In our sessions, you can expect a positive and fun learning experience tailored to your unique learning style and goals. Whether it's mastering a challenging concept, proof reading your essays, or offering writing tips, I'm here to provide the guidance and encouragement you need to succeed.
First Session Free:
I understand the importance of finding the right fit when it comes to tutoring. That's why I offer the first session free of charge, giving you the opportunity to experience my teaching style and determine if it's the right fit for you, especially as I gain experience in tutoring.
Let's Connect:
I'm dedicated to working closely with both students and parents to ensure that your expectations are being met. Your success is my priority, and I'm rooting for you! I am easy to reach and offer a quick response. Thank you for considering me as your tutor. Please contact me with any additional questions or to schedule a lesson— or if you just need a word of encouragement on your academic journey. :) You got this!
