About Mackenzie
I provide personalized tutoring for students K-12 to allow them to grow in their understanding of their schoolwork. With my tutoring services, students learn organizational and study skills in addition to being provided with help on homework.
I got started teaching as a volunteer tutor for elementary children at my school.
I have five years of tutoring experience and am a high school graduate with a 4.8 GPA.

I begin by helping them organize their schoolwork to allow them to focus completely on the work rather than the clutter. Then I examine their schoolwork to assess the type of material that they are currently learning. Finally, I go through the lesson and homework with them to reinforce the ideas they are learning and allow them to ask questions so that they can fully understand the material.
I have worked with K-12 students, some of whom have had special needs.
