About Mary
I am an attorney (former prosecutor) with an extensive background tutoring children ages 6+ through college-aged adults. Drawing from my experience as a speech consultant, litigator and public speaking coach, I have successfully tutored students in a host of courses including reading, grammar, spelling, history, english, and political science. I tutor children under sixth grade in all subjects. For the past year and a half, I have been an independent consultant with Franklin Educational Services, providing tutoring and academic management to students from elementary school through college. I was also a Lead consultant at the University of Mary Washington Speaking Center prior to law school. Whether you are looking to strengthen core skill sets such as reading comprehension or seeking assistance with high school or college/graduate school admission essays, I have over a decade of experience working with students and can assist with strategies, techniques, study skills, organization, and confidence.
•3 years working as a Speaking Center Lead Consultant at the University of Mary Washington
• 1.5 years working as an independent consultant for Franklin Educational Services, providing tutoring and academic management for students age 6 through 20.
• 1 year working as a tutor with Score! Educational Center
• Co-taught a class with a Maryland Judge at the University of Baltimore School of Law on oral arguments
