About Karen

I give my students personalized attention to help them improve all their literature, reading and writing skills. I have been a high school English teacher for Los Angeles Unified School District for over 25 years. Although I recently retired, I love teaching and tutoring is a fantastic way to continue.

I love observing and celebrating my students as they reach their goals!! Their learned skills and self-confidence make the tutoring experience joyful for both of us.

I have a California Clear Teaching Credential in English. I can teach grades K to 12 and Adults.

About the lesson

I like to discuss the student's needs and goals with the student and their family prior to getting started. There will be an agreement reached concerning all details as to lesson days, times, locations and cost.
