About Abigail
As a recent college graduate, I can say with absolute certainty that one of the trickiest things to learn is how to properly write an essay. For myself and the vast majority of the students I have worked with, writing was something that was never truly emphasized throughout early education and when it was, it was taught to us in a rigid structure that was only really geared at helping students pass important exams. It took me two years into college to unlearn what I had been taught and try to develop a more fluid model for essay writing.
Due to the flexibility of this model, I am able to cater to the curriculum for my students to their individual needs. Whether that be writing an essay for college applications or for your literature class, I am here to help.
Not only am I able to teach students how to write an amazing essay, but I also teach how to analyze literature. My goal for teaching is simple; I am not here to help students get over tiny roadblocks, I am here to show students how to overcome these hurdles time and time again.
The best aspect of working as an educator is watching my students is use the tools I have taught them to navigate their academic struggles independently.

I individualize the approach I take depending on many factors, including: their academic level, whether they need help with a specific assignment or help with a topic, and the subject itself.
I have worked with ages 10 through 20 in various subject matters, including writing, literature, and math. I have also spent the last year work as a Special Education Instructor.
