About Dolores
Connection, Information, parental collaboration, reliability! Retired Special Education instructor with certification. I have been working with online students since Covid-19 and before that, substitute teacher. Reading, Spelling, Phonics targets.
After my education degree in College, I worked in sales, then got special education certification and began to teach fifteen years later. I have been teaching and tutoring for 30 years.
BS in Education, Buffalo State University. Majors in Art, Science, Special Education. Certification in Special Education and Art for kindergarten through grade 12

Build trust by parental conversation, determining challenges, suggesting prepare individual learning plan after five sessions.
I have and am currently teaching students from grades 1-9. Some are gifted students, several are ADHD or in the Spectrum Autistic. Several have had handicapping conditions. One private student was ESL.
Be open to incorporating tutor planned study guides and shared workbooks targeting specific needs. Stay positive and take each session seriously; look forward to having fun learning!
