About Kandis
I am a certified Florida teacher with a master's degree in teaching English Language Arts. Language Arts has always been a passion of mine, so it is important to me to bring that passion as I teach it to others. I like to to discuss the goals with the student to establish a plan to work towards those goals so the student has equal buy-in to success.
I have tutored students with mild and severe learning disabilities to read and comprehend texts at various levels. I have also taught 6-8th grade at a local Florida school, so I am skilled at Florida Education Standards.
Additionally, I can work with students online to improve essays for college accaptance essays or similar.
I have a bachelor's degree in English Literature and a master's degree in teaching English Language Arts. I have also trained as a linguist in the US Air Force, so I am skilled at extensive language eduaction.
