About Anthony
I am an English Teacher, who understands the difficulties of the English language. I believe that with practice comes achievement. "Albert Einstein himself insisted that, "he had not been born with any special gift." All Children are “gifted” for nothing in particular; they are gifted for “everything”. Rates are negotiable
Appreciating the ability to improve students' confidence through guiding them in learning to learn to read, write, and think critically. Also, experiencing the range of growth in students, and encouraging their joy in learning. Furthermore, to experience the challenge of developing and doing interesting, exciting activities for young students.
I have been in education for 30 years. I have tutored for 14 years. I have attended training and been certified by the NJTA for 9 of the last 10 years. I have worked with Special Needs students. I have taught grades 4-12, and have tutored all levels of College English including ESL.

A relaxed introduction where establish common ground (Sports, movies, music, books, authors) Ask them what is it that they need from me. Give them an interesting narrative writing assignment. (writing assessment) Read it together and review.

Perfect! Anthony is a great tutor. He is accommodating and has been showing me how to improve my sentence structure and reading comprehension ability. Anthony is also teaching me how to become a better college essay writer. His tutoring session is very interactive, and he takes time to explains any questions I have.
