Excited about all aspects of academic and creative writing!
I love doing a deep analysis of a text, whether that's something we're reading together or your own writing. And listening to your interpretation of the writing is always refreshing for me. Talking about writing/reading is the best!
I started thinking about it in high school, and then I was put in charge of my first college class during my master's program. I haven't stopped teaching since.
I've been a college instructor for 7 years, and I have degrees in English, creative writing, rhetoric, composition, and the teaching of English. I also have experience from peer tutoring at a Writing Center!

I like to find out what the student knows, what the student specifically needs help with, and what resources the student has available to them. Then, we can figure out how to use those knowledges and resources to move forward into a successful tutoring relationship!
I've worked with mostly college students, but I'm flexible and excited to work with all types of students on all types of writing and reading.
Don't be afraid to ask questions, know what you want, and direct your tutor. It really helps us out and we love your brilliant insights!
