About Mara
As a current college student, I know what it is like to struggle with classes. I have tutored on-campus before and helped out some younger kids in around town. I would love to help you guys with your classes!
I am a current college student at Hopkinsville Community College. I have taken multiple AP classes including Human Geography, World History, US History, and Psychology. I passed all four AP exams. I also obtained a 33 on the ACT. I am well equipped to tutor in any high school class, ACT prep, and college writing

First, I will reach out to the student or parent and ask if there are any specific things that help them learn better. For example explaining vs drawing out an example. Then I will ask for the notes and assignments to be sent to me 1-2 days prior to the tutoring session so that I can prepare. Right now, all sessions will be conducted over Zoom or Google Meet
I have worked with students of all ages and skill levels. Most recently, I worked with a 1st grader with severe ADHD. I have also worked extensively with middle school students and high school juniors/seniors looking to work on ACT skills

Details
Pricing will be determined by the age of the student and length of the session. 30 minutes sessions are $20 for elementary/middle school and $25 for high school and college. 60 minute sessions are $40 for elementary/middle school and $50 for high school. Special offers and requests will be evaluated on a case by case bases. Discounts for repeat customers
