About Madison

I have 7+ years working with kids (babysitting, gymnastics coaching, children's choreographer, children's party entertainer, etc...). Through this experience, I understand the level of patience and support that kids need in order to succeed. In addition, all kids learn differently. I have a gental, yet assitive approach on teaching that will highlight the process in which the student learns best.

I absolutely love working with kids and teaching! I am currently in my last year of college, getting my bachelors in business with a concentration in mrketing. While I am well rounded and can tutor to any age, in other subjects as well, I have a passion for working with kids and exploring the relm of business.

Both of my parents are elementary school teachers, so I have been around that envronment my whole life.

I have mas associates degree in business and I am currently in school for my bachelors in business as well.

About the lesson

I first assess the areas in which the student is struggling. Once I understand where the issue lies, I will review the foundational information with the student in a way that they can comprend it. Then we will work together to come to a greater understanding of the information. I will consistantly ask him/her to explain the information to me almost as if I am the student. I have found this method to work well when it comes to remembering key facts and finding holes in information they thought they understood completely but didn't. Once the student is able to consistantly work on their own without my help, I will move onto a new subject.

I have worked mostly with young students (elementary school age) but I am also happy to work with students in high school or college (depending on the subject).
