About Hannah
As a certified social studies teacher from The College of New Jersey, I am dedicated to improving education for all of my students. I believe that all students can achieve challenging goals and meet high expectations. This is evident in my practice as an educator, and my goal as a teacher is to assist all of my students to meet their goals and exceed expectations. I will work with your student to ensure that they are supported in this manner so that they may receive the best education possible.
In working with students, I find it exceptional to watch as they grow and learn in a classroom or tutoring session. My favorite part about teaching is that I am able to create meaningful relationships with my students, so that we are both excited when there is improvement. I always try to make learning fun, and I find that working with young students is both rewarding and joyful.

If I am your student's tutor, in our first sessions we will meet each other and discuss the student's strengths and weaknesses. This will assist me in preparing a plan for educational success.
For example, if your student is a skilled essay writer, but needs help remembering content, we will strategize for that. On the other hand, if your student is very knowledgeable but has trouble putting information down on paper or organizing ideas, there are other strategies to implement for this. Either way, in meeting the student and discussing where they would like to improve, we can formulate a plan and get started.
