About Irie
I am extremely knowledgeable in the english language and have many years of experience in reading and writing. Since elementary school, I have been at a much higher level of reading and writing than most of my peers. My teachers have always been very impressed at my skills. I have the ability to read and write backwards and upside down. There arent many people who have the literature skills that I do.
I got started teaching as soon as I graduated highschool. Although, not as a licensced teacher, some of my old classmates would come to me and ask me for help with their english homework whether it was with grammer, vocabulary, or punctuation. I learned that I enjoyed teaching and helping people with their issues overcoming the english language.
I have taken comprehensive english classes and have studied many english literature books in my free time.

My process for working with a new student is simple. I figure out where exactly they are struggling, figure out the best way to teach them and what their learning style is, and I make a plan in order to help them overcome whatever struggles the student is having.
I have worked with students who know very little english and students whose first language is english. Many different types of people and personalities.
Hire a teacher who is non-judgemental. Someone who will never call you a failure and will never give up on you. English is one of the hardest languages to learn in the world. Hire someone who will be patient with you.
