About Autumn
I have tutored intermittently over the past 25 years. I was a voracious reader by the age of six and quickly developed a passion for writing, and eventually, editing. I became editor-in-chief of my high school newspaper junior year, and after a summer internship at KYW News Studio in Philadelphia, I entered college as a journalism major. An interesting project turned my career sights toward information technology but I kept my passion for reading, writing and teaching.
Over the past 5 years I have collaborated on strategic communications and publications for college administrators but I am excited to reconnect with younger generations and facilitate student success.

During our first session I like to include 10-15 minutes with the student and their parent(s)/guardian(s) just to get to know each other. Knowing a bit about my students' background and interests enhances the framework for our sessions, as well as the student experience.
