About Jennifer
I began teaching immediately after college. I knew that I wanted to be an English teacher so I didn't waste any time purusing it.
I have my BA in Enlgish and philosophy and a Master's in education. I currently teach AP Language and Composition and Freshman English at Arcadia High School. Courses I have taught in the past include: Freshman Honors, Sophomore Intervention, Senior Focus: Shakespeare, Senior Focus: World Literature.

I initially start out by sitting down and talking to the student. Hearing about the student's previous classes, looking at previous writing assignments, and learning about the student's goals really help to inform which direction I take when starting with a new student.
I've worked with students in college preporatory courses, AP courses, intervention courses, and ESL courses.
Ask as many questions as you have! Don't be afraid to be very specific about what your goals are.
I'm a competitive mountain bike racer. I used to run track and field.
