About Patricia

My name is Patty Lee, and I am a retired Teacher who has worked with students ages 6-60. I am passionate about supporting and encouraging learners of all ages so that they can excel in areas where they have struggled before.

I was a Resource Teacher in the public schools for over 10 years, helping students use strengths to overcome weaknesses in their academic work.

I worked at the College level for over 20 years, teaching graduate students to write, speak and develop study strategies that aided them in their coursework.

I design lessons so that the student can apply what they are learning and see their own improvement. There is nothing more rewarding than helping someone learn.

I have a Doctorate in Education, have held teaching certificates in three states and received teaching awards throughout my career.

I have mentored and tutored for several years. I love working with students one on one, so that we get to know one another. I am thrilled when a student catches on to something they've had difficulty with in the past. I especially like helping students develop their writing skills.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Speech Therapy, a Master's Degree in Counseling, and a Doctorate in Special Education.

I have taught beginning teachers to develop effective teaching strategies with students K-12.

Assess what area and what specific type of support and assistance are needed.
