About Leyla

Hello, my name is Leyla. I am patient, passionate and excited to help you reach your academic goals. I have my bachelors in English Literature and my minor in child and adolescent development. I help students with reading, writing, spelling, grammar, phonics, essay editing, phonics, SAT and ACT test prep, and college admission essays. I have worked with elementary school students all the way to college students. My strength is being able to take sometimes boring readings and make them interesting and engaging to students. I understand reading Shakespeare for the first time and feeling like it really is written in another language. I like to break down difficult concepts into easy-to-understand language that students can understand and relate to.
